Just a quick note to say we had Andy Foster with a Links Broadcast truck @ the Withdean on Friday for in-visions and match coverage of Brighton v Nottingham Forest, both he and his truck were outstanding.

I've not worked with Andy before but found him to be extremely helpful, willing to go the extra mile and had at his disposal a truck with more kit and capability than any other I've ever worked with.

Having shared Meridian's camera for match coverage and post-match interviews (all shot on DV Cam rather than Digi) he was able to play out our material without any hassle as we have experienced at times in the past.

Thought it was worth some positive feedback as it made a cold Friday night at the football a significantly more enjoyable experience and enabled a very smooth technical operation.

I just thought I would let you what an outstanding job your two guys did today, They are some of the best contractors I've ever had the pleasure to work with, not only were they on time [which is rare], extremely polite and courteous at all times, but there professionalism was to the highest degree as well.

I would be grateful if you could ensure that there Line Managers/HR Manager is aware of my thoughts and that my compliments can be passed down to them. Working with professionals like this makes the day go a lot smoother, and today's event was perfect in every way.

I hope you don't mind but I would like to thank Paul for all his hard work in providing uplinks for BT.

In my former role as operations manager for UK & European satellite delivery for BT I have to deal with a number of suppliers & I wish all were as pro-active as Paul He has always been accommodating & is always contactable. We always have regular service reviews & the few problems we've had have been resolved quickly & with minimal impact.

Following SCCI's purchase of Mike Miller's satellite truck in 2005 Paul Airey introduced himself to me & we have since forged a strong relationship in that Links are now our preferred supplier for 3rd party hire-ins.

Links subsequently purchased a HD truck & have updated it based on our recommendations & we now use this as our preferred supplier for Sky Sports outside broadcast. The Sky work is one of the most demanding with regards to specification & engineering competency, so this would could not be done by 'any old uplink'

BT also had a joint venture with O21 outside broadcast & I need a supplier to take this over & had no doubt about recommending Links for this work & have every confidence that this can be taken forward & fulfill the potential for increased revenue for yourselves. We met with the MD of O21 yesterday & their response was extremely favorable.

Please pass my thanks on to Paul for making my job that little bit easier.

Hi Paul,

Just to say thanks to all your team for a fantastic delivery of the broadcast.

I know that a lot of work went into preparing the cinemas to be able to receive Astra, and all that seems to have gone very smoothly.

Steve did a great job in the uplink, and was a great support to me and to our friends from Dolby.

So, sincere thanks to all at Links Broadcast and SCCI.
